PRAYER OF SALVATION

bullet

God puts within all of us a void that only can be filled with Him. He created us to have fellowship with Him.

bullet

Because of man's sin, our sin, we have been separated from God.

bullet

God made a way for us to be reconciled back to Him, to be saved from our sin.

bullet

He sent his son Jesus to be the bridge from us back to God.

Jesus was asked, "WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?"
"Jesus answered and said to him, 'Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again,
he cannot see the kingdom of God.'"
(John 3:3)

1. God Loves You!

The Bible says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes
in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life"
(John 3:16)

But the problem is this ...

2. We have all done, said or thought things that are wrong.  This is called sin and it separates us from God.

The Bible says, “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23) God is perfect and holy, and
our sins separate us from God forever.  The Bible says, “The wages of sin is death.” (Romans 6:23)

The good news is, God made a way ...

3. God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ to die for our sins.

Jesus is the Son of God. He lived a sinless life and then died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. “God demonstrates His own love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

Jesus rose from the dead and now He lives in heaven with God His Father. He offers us the gift of eternal life -- of living
forever with Him in heaven if we accept Him as our Lord and Savior. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father except by Me."
(John 14:6)
"That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)

God reaches out in love to you and wants you to be His child. "As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to
become children of God, even to those who believe on His name."
(John 1:12)
You can choose to ask Jesus Christ to
forgive your sins, come into your life, and become your Savior and Lord.

If you want to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and turn from your sins,
you can ask Him to be your Savior and Lord by praying a prayer like this:

Heavenly Father, I confess to you right now that I am a sinner, and I am asking you to please forgive me of all my sins.
I acknowledge your son Jesus as the Son of God, and I receive Him personally as my savior.
I ask YOU, JESUS to come into my life, forgive me of all my sins, and take control of my life.
I ask you Lord to fill me with your Holy Spirit and guide me in all my ways.
I totally surrender myself to you.  I ask for Your will to be done in my life.
Help me to turn my life around and please head me in the right direction.
I will serve you the rest of my life.

Thank you Lord for forgiving my sins, for making me your child, and for bringing me into your kingdom.
I pray all of this in the Name of Jesus,  Amen
