NEW CHURCHES WILL BE BUILT AND SCHOOLS WILL BE STARTED!

Our vision is to start bible schools in the Caribbean so we can train up the Nationals to Evangelize their own countries and bring change to their people. We train the people in the five fold ministry and teach them to teach others.

Jerry was met by Daniel Alix at the airport in Port-au-Prince, Haiti in late July before making their long hot 4WD over the southern ridge of mountains toward Jacmel.  They were on their way to check out an area where there were no existing churches.  Daniel is the founder and overseeing pastor of six churches, several orphanages and day schools. Our desire is to help Daniel with construction teams to build churches that will also hold bible schools.

This is a location (right) for one new church and an I.V.B.I.  It is four hours up the riverbed in a 4WD, then two hours by foot. Materials and supplies can be driven and carried in by volunteers November through February.

The rainy season in Jacmel is from March through October. 

The concrete and steel shelter built 37x60 ft (below) will hold a children's school, a church, and an I.V.B.I., and will  protect them from the rain and sun.

We know of two pastors with groups of about 250 people each who are praying for a building for their church, day school, and for a bible school.  They are located in remote areas N of Jacmel and NW of Les Cayes.

P.S. It is very expensive to build a new church even if it is not as rough as the one above in Haiti.

The new building (below) was built in Jamaica and is not as rough as the one in Haiti, but it still has a lot of work for it to be finished. Right now there is no water or electric. It is a great sacrifice for our directors and teachers to work in these primitive conditions.

  JAMAICA GRADUATION

Kingston, Jamaica had it's fourth graduation last year with 76 students receiving either a certificate or a diploma for first or second year.  Many of the graduates will go back and work in their own home churches.  They all have been trained in the five fold ministry.

A new church was built in Albion Mt to reach out to the poor people of the countryside. Many of the people like the two men below practice the Rastafarian Religion.

The two men above were ministered to by Jerry while he was in the countryside in Jamaica. There are many cults and drugs used by these people.

Johnny & Linda will be moving from Commerce, Texas to live in Port Maria on the north side of Jamaica. They feel called to go there for three years to direct the new school that is on Albion Mountain. We are looking for teachers who would like to go for a two week session to help them teach.  Johnny & Linda will also need partners to assistance them financially for the three years they will live in Jamaica. If you would like to become their partner, please let us know.
