The older children all help with the babies.

These little girls are precious!

The girls are now in temporary housing.

All the children had to be moved quickly to the outside as the Earthquake rumbled through Jacmel.  Jacmel borders southern Haiti and was hit the hardest by Hurricane Gustov in 2008.
We were still in the process of making repairs to the buildings when the Earthquake hit a few weeks ago. Many of the children from orphanages are being brought to the U.S. for foster care and adoption.  If you are interested in helping to bring any of these, or other children to the states you may contact us, or go to the website of Grace International www.giinc.org for more information.

We met Victoire & Gertrude Francoise in 1998 when they were 5 & 8 years old and instantly "Fell in Love"! They were not adoptable then because they had extended family.  Here is Victoire today with Jerry.
We hope to one day be able to bring the girls to live with us to help them with their education.  There are thousands of children in Haiti waiting to be adopted.
